A Bit About Me
I grew up in the beautiful Puget Sound, but my heart has always gravitated toward warmer climates. By living in Seattle I’ve continued to foster strong, lifelong connections with my family, and I’ve found my own path in the world of education and parenting. Co-op preschool was a natural fit for me, especially after seeing the positive influence it had on my younger cousins, all proud graduates of Alki Co-op. Watching them grow into people I admire made it an easy choice for me and my own child.
With a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Western Washington University, I bring an understanding of child development to my work. I love seeing children reach milestones and learning how to interact with one another in the classroom. Having gone through the co-op experience with my own child, I truly appreciate the power of community learning, and I apply all that I’ve learned from my mentors and teachers into my own practice.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy creating herbal tea blends and experimenting with new recipes. I believe in the importance of nurturing both the mind and body, and I strive to share that balance with the children and families I work with.
