Admiral Co-op Preschool is its own 501(c)(3) non-profit under the umbrella of the SSCCP network.
At Admiral Co-op, children grow through meaningful play, supported by a caring community of educators and families. Located in the heart of West Seattle, our classrooms--filled with light, movement, and imagination--invite kids ages 1-5 to explore, connect and thrive.
With a curriculum rooted in equity, inclusion, and the WaKIDS kindergarten readiness framework, we focus on developing the whole child--socially, emotionall, and cognitively. Here, play isn't just fun; it's the foundation for lifelong learning.
About Admiral Co-op
Admiral Co-op has been a trusted part of West Seattle's early learning community for decades. We believe children learn best through play--when their bodies, minds, and hearts are engaged in discovery, connection, and joy.
Our classrooms are thoughtfully designed for every stage of early childhood, with separate, light-filled spaces for toddlers, twos, threes, and Pre-K. As children grow, so do their opportunities for independence, movement, and exploration, both indoors and out. From multi-room play environments to outdoor adventures, our curriculum supports whole-child development in a warm, inclusive environment.
As a cooperative preschool, we also support the grown-ups in the room. Through in-class participation and parent education guided by South Seattle College parent instructors, families build skills, confidence, and comunity. This makes Admiral not just a preschool, but a village.
