The Magic of Special Time

Has your parent educator ever recommended "special time" as a solution to a parenting dilemma? Maybe your teacher, pediatrician, therapist, a friend or family member? Why is everyone recommending we do this thing that sounds so obvious? When special time is recommended, many parents find themselves thinking: don't I already do that? How is it possible that something so simple could help me with challenges that are so complex? Or they may see the value but struggle to get started or establish a routine. In this session we will discuss what special time is, how it has helped families, how to get started, and how to create a routine or add value to an existing one.
