White Center Cooperative Preschool has proudly served the West Seattle community for over 50 years, providing a nurturing, play-based early learning environment for children ages 2 through 5. As a parent-run cooperative, we offer a unique model where families are active partners in their child’s education and in the life of the preschool itself. This collaborative approach creates a strong sense of community and shared responsibility, setting us apart from traditional preschools.

Our dedicated and skilled early childhood educators focus on fostering curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional growth through hands-on play and meaningful exploration. We believe children thrive when they feel safe, supported, and inspired—whether they are making new friends on the playground or discovering new ideas in the classroom.

Located inside the historic Mt. View Presbyterian Church in White Center, our cozy and welcoming space serves families from Arbor Heights, Highland Park, South Park, Burien, and surrounding neighborhoods. Beyond the classroom, parents engage through our cooperative structure by participating in fundraising, helping set tuition prices, and attending South Seattle College’s Parent Education Program, which offers valuable resources and guidance.
