About the event
Your child plays and has fun at preschool each day, but what are they truly learning? You come to school and head to your work station, but what can you be doing to support your child and others in the classroom? In this class, you will learn about the specific ways your child is building foundational math, literacy, and social-emotional skills through play. You will hear more about your role as assistant teacher and how you can enhance the learning for children who visit your area. Finally, we will answer your questions about how to handle some of the most common challenging situations that come up during preschool. This class is for co-op newbies and veterans alike. It is also appropriate for parenting partners, nannies, grandparents, or other caregivers who want to understand “Co-op language”.
