Mary E. Phillips Scholarship Fund

Mary E. Phillips was a pioneering leader at South Seattle College, serving as the first coordinator of the Home and Family Life Department in the early 1970s and shaping generations of parents through her compassionate work as a Parenting Instructor. In honor of her lasting impact, the Parent Advisory Council renamed its scholarship fund for her upon her retirement. The Mary E. Phillips Scholarship Fund continues to support parents in their educational journeys, and donations in her memory help the program she devoted her life to continue to thrive.
