Lincoln Park Co-op Preschool is its own 501(c)(3) non-profit under the umbrella of the SSCCP network.
Lincoln Park Co-op offers a play-based, inclusive environment where children explore, grow, and develop social and emotional skills. Our program includes Spanish language classes and outdoor play.
We partner with families through parent education and guided learning, preparing children for a smooth transition to kindergarten while fostering a supportive community for all. Our cooperative model invites caregivers to be actively involved in their child’s early education and daily classroom experience.
About Lincoln Park Co-op
Lincoln Park Cooperative Preschool is a welcoming, play-based early learning community located just blocks from the Fauntleroy Ferry Dock in West Seattle. Our program supports children’s social, emotional, and language development through hands-on discovery and guided play. We offer Spanish language instruction in our 3s and Pre-K classes and make full use of the beautiful outdoor play spaces at the historic Fauntleroy Schoolhouse and nearby Lincoln Park.
As a cooperative preschool, we emphasize strong partnerships with families. Parents and caregivers actively participate in the classroom and benefit from parent education led by an experienced instructor from South Seattle College. This approach helps caregivers build skills to support their child’s growth at home while fostering a connected community.
Inclusion, equity, and anti-bias education are foundational to everything we do. Our curriculum aligns with Washington State’s Kindergarten Entrance Guidelines to prepare children for a confident transition to kindergarten in a nurturing, diverse, and supportive environment.

Tiered Tuition
Lincoln Park Co-op Preschool is introducing an optional tiered tuition system for some classes (2s, 3s, Pre-K). The system is three-tiered, with tuition increased for higher-income families. By having families opt into paying more, Lincoln Park Co-op hopes to keep tuition prices affordable and accessible to more families. In short, we're asking familes who can pay more to do so. We see this as in keeping with the spirit of equity, inclusion, and community that are core to our Co-op mission.
Tuition tiers are:
(a) suggested, not required
(b) based on US census data for the Seattle-area on income quartiles
(c) self-selected and self-reported (no income verification of any kind)
(d) visible only to admin (staff that help run the preschool)
